Payment

We accept cash and cheques, but encourage payment by bank transfer. Currently we don't accept PayPal or credit/debit cards in order to keep our costs down, and we're happy to pass these savings on to you.

If you are one of our residential clients, please don't send cash in the post, and NEVER EVER leave cash anywhere on the outside of your property for us to collect, unless it’s a on a first floor window ledge and we access it by ladder.

Put it in the bottom of a plastic bag, place the bag on the window ledge, and close the window on the top part of the bag. That way it shouldn't blow away, being on an upper ledge nobody else should get to it apart from us, and with the window locked you know your house is still secure while you're out.

If someone is in when we clean a residential job, we expect to be paid on the day. Cheques under £20 have to have a £2 admin fee added. Outstanding amounts of four cleans or more now attract a 20% per month overdue fee on each clean until your account is clear.

If you prefer to pay “in bulk”, wait till three cleans are due and pay us for six. You’ll be paying for the three you owe and also three in advance. Six cleans later, when your card will show you owe for three, do the same again - and so on.

Residential clients should put their address on the back. Commercial clients should put the month, job date, or invoice number, on the back if a remittance advice doesn't accompany the cheque.

As members of the Federation of Small Businesses we have an online business account with the Co-operative Bank and incur no charges.

If you agree that bank transfer is the way to go, we'll be delighted to send you our bank details.

If you pay on behalf of a company, please use the company name as the reference and a job date or invoice number if you can.

If you're paying a residential bill, we'll give you your own unique pay-in reference to use each time. From that we can easily identify your payment on our bank statements - and not allocate it to someone else with the same name!
